Anitoxidants

Antioxidants are important anti-aging agents. They protect skin cells from damaging free radicals produced by toxins in the environment. These toxins can lead to premature aging and dull-looking skin. Here are some of the antioxidants found in the oils used in St. Joe Beach Beauty products.

  • Vitamin A stimulates the production of new skin cells, which helps in reducing fine lines. It aids in speeding up healing and supports the skin’s immune system. It also promotes natural moisturizing and hydrating of the skin to give a sun-kissed glow.
  • Vitamin B is most effective when applied directly to the skin and may help prevent the signs of skin aging by helping to produce healthy new skin cells.
  • Vitamin C promotes collagen production, which has the potential to diminish fine lines and is essential for firm, youthful skin. It inhibits melanin production in the skin, which helps lighten hyperpigmentation and brown spots. It also evens skin tones and enhances skin radiance.
  • Vitamin E helps support the immune system, cell function, and skin health. It can also be beneficial at reducing UV damage to the skin.
  • Omega Fatty Acids have anti-inflammatory properties that benefit the skin by increasing hydration and reducing signs of flaky, dehydrated looking skin. They repair the skin’s barrier to improve moisture and elasticity while smoothing the skin’s surface for a younger-looking and healthier complexion, no matter your age or skin type. Omegas strengthen the skin against signs of environmental damage and deliver antioxidants for anti-aging, preventing premature aging.
  • Omega Fatty Acids 3 and 6 are both essential fatty acids, which means our bodies need them but don’t make them. Omega 3 and 6 contain age-fighting properties and reduce the appearance of wrinkles and skin damage. They act as emollients, natural moisturizers that work from within, to give us visibly beautiful and healthy skin.
  • Omega Fatty Acids 9 strengthens the moisture barrier for smooth, clear, and healthy skin.
